SO I recently went to a fashion show. Admittedly it was a local thing in my rugby club but there was a raffle and goody bags full of freebies (hair products squee!) and we got all the tips we need on hair trends. It was run mainly by a Blackrock hairdressing salon and so they gave makeovers to a bunch of mums and women involved with the club and a few of the coaches! There were some great clothes and the hair was done amazingly and I actually learnt a lot!
One of the hairdressers (bottom left above) had great style despite having to wear all black and the most lovely little boots! The shoes were stunning all around and some of the clothes the women brought were stunning! They all dressed very well especially considering it was mostly women in their 40s.
The highlight of the evening however was undoubtedly the men! My dad was actually one of the male models for the show! They all had to have their hair cut and coloured but also got to model suits by Diffney's. My father quite frankly rocked the catwalk and with the music pumping he perfectly executed the strutting and turning we choreographed beforehand with a twist-he had all the male models do the
Zoolander poses at each end of the catwalk! They brought the house down! The evening was great craic and the freebies were fab and to top it all it raised plenty of funds for the under 12s London-Irish trip!
