Snapshot 20!

I do lament the Irish summer!
Here's another snapshot of simple summer style. The skirt is home made from a striped fabric, I cut the shape at the bottom a little differently a year or two ago, I wanted it really choppy, uneven and just textured. I wore the blue bike shorts underneath mostly as a fashion statement but they're also a great way to fend off the Irish breeze and if you are, in fact, a cyclist! I wanted to keep the colour scheme simple because the skirt is quite lively so I teamed it with a black tube top (if you're a bustier girl always get one with an elasticated top and preferably with a hidden support even if you do wear it with a bra-it'll stop you have to hoike it up every two minutes!). Tube tops are a great way to make a look a little more summery and help get a tan on those shoulders. I finished it off with green converse (never wear less than three colours in my opinion!). Hair in loose waves for that summer-y, laid-back look!
